boAt, a leading audio and wearables brand in India, has announced plans to go public in the financial year 2025-2026. The company’s co-founder, Aman Gupta, made the announcement in an interview with CNBC-TV18.

“We are planning to go public in FY25-FY26,” Gupta said. “We are currently in talks with bankers and will be filing the IPO papers soon.”

boAt was founded in 2016 by Gupta and Sameer Mehta. The company has since become one of the leading audio and wearables brands in India. boAt’s products are available in over 40 countries and the company has over 100 million users.

In the financial year 2022, boAt’s revenue grew by 60% to ₹2,200 crore. The company’s profit also grew by 50% to ₹200 crore.

Gupta said that boAt is well-positioned for growth in the coming years. He said that the company is expanding its product portfolio and entering new markets.

“We are confident that we will be able to achieve our IPO target in FY25-FY26,” Gupta said.

The IPO of boAt will be a major milestone for the company. It will help the company to raise capital for expansion and will also give investors a chance to own a piece of the company.
