Job Summary:
The App Developer Intern will work alongside the development team to assist in the design, development, and testing of mobile applications for the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of new features and functionality, as well as troubleshooting and bug fixing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of new mobile application features and functionality.
- Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement application maintenance plans.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as Java or Swift.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues as needed.
- Assist in the optimization of application performance, including app load speed and user experience.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current mobile development trends and best practices.
- Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a computer science, software engineering, or related program.
- Proficiency in mobile development languages such as Java or Swift.
- Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and libraries such as React Native or Xamarin.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
