Content Writer Intern – MakeMyUnicorn Technologies

Job Summary:

The Content Writer Intern will work alongside the content team to create written content that aligns with the company’s branding and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the creation of a variety of written materials, such as blog posts, social media captions, website copy, email marketing campaigns, and other marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute content concepts for a variety of marketing materials.
  • Assist in the creation of written content for blog posts, social media captions, website copy, email marketing campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support content creation.
  • Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO.
  • Assist in the management and scheduling of content calendars.
  • Stay up-to-date with current content marketing trends and best practices.
  • Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a journalism, communications, or related program.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
  • Demonstrated ability to write for a variety of platforms and audiences.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A portfolio of relevant writing samples is preferred.
