Job Summary:
The Graphic Design Intern will work alongside the graphic design team to create visual content that aligns with the company’s branding and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and production of a variety of visual materials, such as social media graphics, email marketing campaigns, website design elements, and print materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the graphic design team to develop and execute design concepts for a variety of visual materials.
- Assist in the creation of designs for social media graphics, email marketing campaigns, website design elements, and print materials.
- Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create high-quality visual content.
- Assist in the production process, including preparing files for print and web publication.
- Help maintain the company’s visual brand standards across all marketing materials.
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and techniques.
- Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graphic design program or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with design for print and web.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio of relevant design work is preferred.
