Job Summary:
The SEO Intern will work alongside the digital marketing team to assist in the optimization of the company’s website for search engines. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and implementing SEO best practices to improve the website’s search engine rankings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords for the website.
- Assist in the development and implementation of on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Analyze website data using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the creation of SEO-friendly website content, including meta tags, headings, and page copy.
- Help manage the website’s backlink profile and assist in the identification of high-quality backlink opportunities.
- Monitor and report on website traffic and search engine rankings.
- Stay up-to-date with current SEO trends and best practices.
- Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, business, computer science, or related program.
- Strong understanding of SEO concepts and best practices.
- Experience with SEO research and analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with SEO-friendly content creation.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
