Job Summary:
The UI/UX Intern will work alongside the design team to assist in the creation and improvement of user interfaces and experiences for the company’s digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and assisting in the design of user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to gather insights into user behavior and preferences.
- Develop wireframes and prototypes to test and refine user interface designs.
- Assist in the design of user interfaces for digital products such as websites, mobile applications, and software.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure the design is implemented correctly and efficiently.
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with current UI/UX trends and best practices.
- Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design, human-computer interaction, or related program.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision or Axure.
- Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
