Job Summary:
The Web Development Intern will work alongside the web development team to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s website. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of website features and functionality, as well as troubleshooting and bug fixing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of new website features and functionality.
- Collaborate with the web development team to develop and implement website maintenance plans.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues as needed.
- Assist in the optimization of website performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current web development trends and best practices.
- Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a computer science, web development, or related program.
- Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
