1946 – N.R. Narayana Murthy is born on August 20th in Mysore, India.
1967 – Murthy completes his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mysore.
1969 – Murthy moves to France to pursue his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Paris.
1974 – After working as a research engineer in France, Murthy returns to India to join the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) as a Chief Systems Programmer.
